Topsun Energy Ltd, an Indian company that designs and manufactures solar panels as well as solar photo voltaic products solutions having wide foot print in different product segment like grid-tied power projects, solar water pump systems and having a state of the art solar photo voltaic crystalline Module manufacturing facility with huge capacity and are one of the growing organizations in Gujarat, India. Water Systems manufacturer (WSM), a Dutch water innovator, has developed water storage systems, the largest of which can be installed within a week. These water storage units can store between 50,000 to 750,000 litres of water and can be transported, installed and moved very quickly and easily. The production and installation costs are lower compared to existing water storage systems. WSM uses high-quality steel and patented plastic liners for the water storage systems and provides a ten year guarantee to their customers.

Topsun Energy Ltd and Dutch water innovator Water Systems Manufacturer recently signed a MoU at Mumbai to offer water storage system in India. The NICCT (Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade) stimulated WSM and Topsun to work together. On 6th of june 2015, WSM and Topsun had signed a memorandum of understanding in Mumbai, in presence of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, accompanied by Minister for Economic Affairs Sharon Dijksma.

These water storage systems are very versatile and can be used for Agriculture (water for cattle and irrigation), Industry, Building (temporary storage) and Disaster Mitigation needs. The Dutch knowledge of water management and Topsun’s knowledge of solar panels along with the local market knowledge has thus led to a new kind of water storage system – one which addresses water woes and also power scarcity.
